Young Voices Dance moves
Choir Please have a look at these dance moves on the YV website.
Send me a message if you do.Mrs Campbell
As some of you will know already, Andy Instone, Young Voices` Artistic
Director takes to the stage each year to teach you and your choirs some
“moves” for some of the songs. Well this year, to give you all a head
start and in anticipation of the rehearsals on the day, Andy has put
together his “moves” for Golden Musical Memories in four short video
tutorials on our website.
This is a little added extra for you all and is designed to give your
choirs something to do at home, with their friends, so please let your
choirs know where it is so that they can practise: Take a look in the
Feature Article sections of the kids and teacher pages.
We hope your rehearsals are going well and we can`t wait to see you on
the day.

Big Sing 2010
Well done this afternoon Year 5 6. I was very impressed with the speed you picked up the new songs. Each class have done slightly different songs so that we can build our knowledge gradually.
Boys don’t forget to let me know what you like to sing ( and what you’re not so keen on!!). I got some very interesting feedback from 56B.- Which of the Big Sing songs do you like best? Why?
There will be choir tomorrow lunchtime even though year 5 are out doing Science.

What a wonderful evening!
Thank you to everyone who supported the Musical Soiree last night. I thought it was a very enjoyable evening and every one of the performers did themselves, their parents and Burley Oaks proud.
A special thank you to the Bradford music service staff, Mr Cowburn, Mrs Spivey, Mr Sweet and Mrs Walker who were able to attend, and to those parents who played as accompanists.
A final thanks to the backstage team of staff, breakdancers, Cookery club and early birds who did all the setting up and clearing away.
